Bongumusa obtained his LL.B and LL.M at the University of the Free State in 2022 and 2024 respectively. Highlights of his university career include being elected to the student representative council (SRC) in 2021. He commenced his Practical Vocational Training at Webber Attorneys in 2023 and joined Honey Attorneys in 2025.
Bongumusa was admitted as an attorney in July 2025.
