After obtaining her LL.B at the University of the Free State, Swetlana served her articles at Honey attorneys and was admitted in 2019.

Swetlana opened her own firm, Majiedt Swart Inc, in Kimberley in the Northern Cape during 2021. She was then appointed as director of Honey Attorneys in 2023. Since then, her firm assists with all Northern Cape matters on behalf of Honey Attorneys. She specialises in High Court litigation, with a special interest in family law and estates matters.
